Hello, I am Derek Wagenaar operator of an independant guiding service based out of Kenora, Ontario, Canada. Kenora is a vacationer’s dream located on the northern shore of the Lake of the Woods. While the town offers many attractions, it is world renown for its fishing and hunting. With hunting season only a few weeks long the focus is on our famous white tail deer.
Upon request wolf, duck, grouse, moose and bear hunts will be arranged. Most hunts are on Lake of the Woods, but we also venture north of the city to take advantage of the seclusion and plentiful game
During winter months ice hut rentals on Lake of the Woods are available.
All hunting trips booked are fully guided, and are offered to work around your travel plans. Local accommodations of your choice and most equipment can be provided with advance notice.
